A new therapy was launched to combat the negative symptoms of schizophrenia related depression. We were asked to impactfully demonstrate its effect and engage visitors at a psychiatric conference. First, we meticulously repainted 7 well known works of art to achieve a gloomy, depressing look. Then we created a touchscreen application that slowly reveals the original painting behind each modified one when touched by a visitor, turning into its original, lighter, colorful, more positive self. This is analogous to how the new therapy can transform the life of patients and improve their quality of life. Check out our video to see it in action!
